You're so welcome Regina! I'm sure you could provide some awesome art lessons too, as I know you love art. Maybe I should turn this into a regular linky party...Hmm... Thanks for visiting friend, Cara
Thanks soooo much Deniece! I just went live yesterday and believe me, you were next on my list to contact. Thanks for the love Little Piggy Reads and I'll get with you soon. I have a favor to ask;) Cara
Thanks so, so much Sam! LOVE your name...the Beach Bum Literacy Chick is awesome! I'm glad you came to visit and I'm visiting your blog as we speak! Cara;)
Cara, I actually saw this painting at the Louvre in Paris. The first surprise for me was its size. It is only 31.25" x 21.02" which is smaller than I expected!
A measuring math activity would make a nice connection. Another connection: Which is more important quantity/size or quality/value?
Your activity is great and can make so many learning connections for students!
Anne, I'm so, so jealous! How lucky you are to have actually seen her. I would love to visit it someday. I love your academic connections; they fit the assignment perfectly. It's so wonderful to be able to use art to get kids to use their higher level thinking skills...I love art too girlfriend! Cara;0)
Thank you, Cara! I love your idea of Masterpiece Mondays!
