Mistakes New Bloggers Make You Want to Know!

As a new blogger, I've made many, many mistakes that I wish someone would have told me up front!  But that's how all things in life are...you try something new, go through your learning curve, and hopefully, master the knowledge to be proficient in the task.  But, it helps if you have a teacher along the way to help you along.  Isn't that why we're teachers in the first place?  To help our students along in their learning processes?

Hopefully I can share with you today some mistakes I've made as a new blogger that maybe might help you also as a new or seasoned blogger.  Read on to find out some mistakes that new bloggers make and remedies to those mistakes. You just might make your own blog even better!

Welcome to Creative Playground!

Hello Blogging World!  My name is Cara and I'm so happy to finally be able to have my own blog, Creative Playground!

First things first...I want to thank my blog designer Kassie at Designs By Kassie.  I am so, so happy with my new blog and I owe it all to her professionalism, know-how, and creativity.  I'll be the first to admit...I wasn't an easy customer.  I really wanted my blog to be different from others I've visited and I knew it had to be a reflection of my personality.  And did she do that better than ever!  The colors, fonts, everything.  My blogging family, Kassie ROCKS and I would recommend her 100% for anyone who has needs for a new blog or just a tune up.  She's your lady!  

Since this is my first post, I want to tell you a little about myself, since you're probably wondering who I am and why I'm here.  Let's start with this:

Oh, and I forgot, I'm also happy to be able to be able to give and gain from my experiences as a teacher!  I'm an Elementary School Teacher of 17 years, having taught mostly Fourth Grade.  So I come to you with a background in education, art, and the gift love of gab.  I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not, but I'm a talker and writing is another passion of mine.  So if you're ever in the need of a humorous read, give me a visit!  I really hope to meet a lot of new friends as I enter the blogging world and hope you'll become a new friend of mine.  Please take a look around my blog, as I have some freebies waiting for you...some EXCLUSIVE clip art I created just for you and a Fourth of July Fun Math and Literacy Packet!
